The implementation of mantau at DRK-Sozialwerk Bernkastel-Wittlich marks significant progress in our internal and external communication, but also in the digitalisation of the company. With mantau, the municipality of Wirscheid has created a modern communication channel for its citizens. It allows us to reach many households reliably and quickly, particularly in a timely manner. We also use the app for our collaboration within the local council. For example, we used it to organise the elections and coordinate tasks relating to photo shoots, flyer creation and distribution in the town. Everyone got involved - and it was a great way to make work easier for us organisers. We are delighted - and the response from the residents has been consistently positive.
We now have tablets and smartphones in every children's group.
mantau ensures that information is passed on reliably and at short notice. Because things usually have to happen quickly, e.g. when a message arrives in the morning before the start and we have to reorganise quickly.
It was very important to me that it could be customised to our daycare centre. And that I was able to set it up myself - without IT specialists - in a short space of time.
It was important for us to find a communication platform for our association work that was easy to use and at the same time compliant with data protection laws. We were able to create association groups and sub-groups very well. The organised file storage within the groups is very practical and enables us to easily organise recurring events. In addition, we particularly like to use the appointment function with the option to cancel or add events. It's great that the support is always easy to reach and reacts immediately when we have questions.
We are pleased that we have found a suitable solution with mantau, which helps all our groups including helpers, parents, coaches and trainers with coordination, appointments and communication about our work, so that we can concentrate on the essentials.
The group diary is particularly important for swimming training. Parents can see all the dates at a glance. The coaches always know how many children will be attending the training session thanks to the acceptances and cancellations. Short-term changes and notifications of all kinds can be distributed to everyone at the click of a button via the messages.
